The Certification Process

1. Consultation with BuildCert Staff

BuildCert staff will review your product information and the relevant certification criteria. The various requirements of the certification process are documented and a cost quote and time estimate are provided. E-mail buildcert@wrcnsf.com or call +44 (0)1495 236260 to arrange a consultation.

 

2. Completion of the Application/Contract

If you wish to proceed with the certification submit the BuildCert application and Contract forms. Download the forms from here.

 

3. Sample Selection and Arrangement for Testing

A BuildCert representative will arrange for the collection and submittal of test samples to the selected test laboratory.

4. Factory Inspection

In some cases an inspection of the production facility is not required. If factory production control is required we will schedule a time at your convenience for an auditor to visit the appropriate production facility.

 

5. Test Assessment

Once product samples are received testing can be conducted at the designated laboratory.

6. Product Listing

Once all BuildCert requirements have been met, your company receives your BuildCert listing and Certificate, and you can display the BuildCert mark on your product, product packaging or promotional literature.
